Wanderbrushed Face Painting!

Hello! My name is Nicki and I am a wife to James, and a mum to 4 beautiful, crazy children - Zack (21), Georgia (17), Adalind (11), and Orion (8). I am an early childhood educator and have been working in the industry for over 20 years! I founded Wanderbrushed Face Painting in December 2024, after being inspired by a fellow co worker who brought her face paints in to work one day as a treat for the children we work with.

 As we are planning to travel Australia from June 2025, this prompted me to think about learning to face paint as a side gig while we are travelling, in the hopes I can do it as a side business to make a little bit of pocket money to pay for things while we are on the road! So I quickly started researching and following various face painters from around the world, watching tutorials and learning all the techniques, and saving thousands of ideas on Pinterest, and I took to the art very quickly, uncovering a hidden talent I never knew I had!

 Since starting Wanderbrushed Face Painting, I have been able to practice my skills on my own children and their friends, as well as the children I worked with, and even face painted at a couple of birthday parties. The children love it so much, they regularly ask if I have my face paints with me when I arrive at work!

I have recently participated in the 7th Annual Summit for face painters, run by the International Face Painting School, and after finishing the course, I signed up to the International Face Painting School's professional course, and I can't wait to complete it and share my new skills with everyone!

As we get closer to our leave date to start our trip, I will be available in Geraldton to do small face painting sessions for childrens birthday parties and other events.
